OBIDOS
Once
the wedding present of a queen, the preserved medieval town of Óbidos
just 10 minutes from Praia Del Rey is without doubt one of Portugal's
most classic walled settlements.
Visitors can enjoy views of vineyards and surrounding farmlands
from the medieval walls of this town and at the same time experience
a true and unspoiled part of Portuguese history. Excellent for restaurant's
and traditional shops piled high with local handicrafts.The saltwater
Lagoon de Óbidos to the west is a popular lagoon for sailing
and fishing throughout the year.
  
PENICHE
The quaint fishing port of Peniche lies in the shelter of a great
headland on Portugal's rugged Atlantic coast and is just 20 minutes
from Praia Del Rey.
As late as the mid-16th century, the town was part of an 8-kilometre-wide
island, although an accumulation of sand gradually joined it to
the mainland to form the present peninsula.
Today, the town is most famous for its numerous fish restaurants,
which serve up some of the tastiest sardines in Portugal.
The Berlenga Islands are an hour's journey by boat from Peniche
and offer spectacular diving and views across the Atlantic

DA RAINHA
The sprawling spa town of Caldas da Rainha is famous for its locally-made
ceramics and thermal cures.
Shops ranging from designer fashion to furniture are located throughout
this lovely town.
  
LISBON
The charm of the Portuguese capital resides in its strong links
to the past; restored palaces, majestic churches and an imposing
hilltop castle reflect the city's rich cultural heritage.
Excellent for both shopping, nightlife and simply to take in this

FOZ
This small holiday location is situated just north of the Obidos
Lagoon and West of Caldas Da Rainha and is a popular place for Portuguese
to spend time eating and relaxing. Excellent unspoiled beaches stretch
for miles with Surfing the big attraction on the Atlantic waves.Good
